Interiors Panache on HGTV!

Even for those who have yet to view an episode of My Lottery Dream Home, it’s easy to deduce what the program is all about. Everyone has spent a moment or two dreaming how to spend a lottery jackpot, and high on the list of acquisitions is almost always a new home.

Couple Tours Model Home in Hollister

Host David Bromstad connects with lottery winners (of varying dollar amounts) to help them find the home of their dreams. A recent episode entitled Moving on Up in California (Season 5, Episode 8) spotlighted a couple from San Jose who had won $1 million, Bromstad took them on a tour of homes in Hollister.

Santana Ranch

One of those homes was a model home in Santana Ranch, built by Anderson Homes. The model, The Monterey, was one of four model homes decorated, furnished and staged by Interiors Panache. The single-story, four bedroom, two bath home is over 2,000 square feet and the décor is lush and elegant.

Open Concept

The open-concept floor plan and the quarter-acre lot appealed to the lucky couple. The also appreciated the bright white gourmet kitchen with its gray-blue granite countertops and soft gray wood tile. The large master suite offered a spa-like retreat with soft grays and greens, and the guest bedrooms seemed ideal for the couple’s grandchildren.

Staging to Maximize Space

During the extensive tour, the group relaxed in the Great Room and discussed the many advantages of the home. Bromstad commented that the home was staged expertly to maximize the home’s features.

The only drawback was the wait for new construction to be complete. They wanted their forever home immediately and ultimately chose an existing home so they could move quickly.

Homes are still available at Santana Ranch, and the model homes are open for touring daily from 10 am – 5 pm (noon – 5 pm on Wednesdays) at 1517 Santana Ranch Drive in Hollister.
